Associations and foundations
The Franco Notary Firm handles the establishment of foundations and associations.
These are collective bodies envisioned by the law for the pursuit of an altruistic, nonprofit purpose. In foundations, the patrimonial endowment destined for the purpose pursued by the entity assumes a central role. They are necessarily established by notarial deed instrumental in obtaining the recognition of legal personality and the consequent effect of perfect patrimonial autonomy.
Associations are divided into two categories: recognized associations are also legal persons and unrecognized associations without such status.
Third sector entities
The entire nonprofit sector has undergone major reforms culminating in the enactment of the Third Sector Code.
Third-sector entities, regardless of the legal nature assumed, are characterized by their non-profit nature and the pursuit of civic, solidarity and socially useful purposes through the performance of activities of general interest.
The Franco Notary Firm has always provided advice both on statutory adjustments of already formed entities and on the establishment of new entities, taking care in particular of the procedure for registration with the Single National Register of the Third Sector aimed or not at the acquisition of legal personality.
